Help for the misguided?

...is there is any way to realign those who have been misguided... ?... in terms of agriculture and the mass media, the misinformation is overwhelming...

My point is that before the world-wide-web and blog world, reporting news was regarded as pretty complete... now, the news being reported in papers or on T.V. has been regarded as less than accurate or biased... the news may have always been less than truthful but we had no other choice of where to get that information... we all want to be informed don't we?...

Now, the availability of information is widespread and in various forms, in addition we citizens have a hodge-podge of sources ready to give us all kinds of news and in all levels of bias, truth, half-truth or false...

So, how is a citizen going to be able to discern the difference, who do we believe, where do we go for truth, do we want to know the truth...?

This has been my own personal agenda, finding the truth and being able to know if it is the truth... and then getting that truth out to those who are not able or not interested in learning the truth... it is rather maddening to get someone to care about knowing the truth, so that notion I should probably just let go... but for those who truly want to know what is true I feel a compassion and need to help find that truth...

My ramblings on this idea may need some time to take shape... although there are several organizations that are just as passionate on getting the truth out to the general public on agriculture and farmers.... I shall write about that later, and post their websites as well, just in case any of you are interested...

So, here's to another lovely day in this wonderful country that I love so much, and I hope and pray we can maintain our simple way of life...
